Product Introduction:
Cement is used for long-term sealing and isolation of casing and formation. However, even if the cement slurry is used correctly during the cementing process and plays the initial sealing role, the integrity of the cement stone will be damaged due to sufficient stress changes caused by changes in wellbore conditions. FCS technology is adopted in engineering to improve the sealing effect of cement by controlling and adjusting the mechanical properties of cement stone. The long-term mechanical durability of cement stone is improved by adjusting its elasticity and expansion properties, thereby achieving long-term sealing effect.
Advantages:
Has good elasticity while ensuring compressive strength
Good consolidation quality and sealing effect
Suitable for geothermal wells, gas storage wells, gas injection and unconventional fracturing
Typical performance and application conditions:
FCS technology was successfully commercialized in 2011 and has been applied in multiple oil and gas fields worldwide. Practice has proven that this technology is effective under the following conditions:
Applicable temperature: Static temperature 60-662 ° F (15-350 ° C)
Usage density: 8.3 ppg to 23.3 ppg (1.00-2.80 g/cm3)
Slurry water: Fresh water
Compressive strength: 20-30 MPa/200 ° C for 7 days
API dehydration: ≤ 50 mL
Well types: steam injection well, gas storage well, geothermal well, and unconventional multi-stage fracturing well
The typical characteristics of FCS are shown in the following figure.
