Product Introduction:
Emulsified Acid Acidation Technology (EAT) is a two-phase system of oleic acid with high buffering rate and high acid concentration, designed specifically for acidification and acid fracturing of carbonate rock matrices. It is an oil phase emulsion with an acid phase to oil phase ratio of 70:30, stabilized by emulsifiers. Compared with the traditional hydrochloric acid system, the lotion can reduce the reaction rate of 28% acid solution by about 13 times, so that the acid solution can penetrate into the formation more deeply. At lower acid concentrations, the buffering effect will be better. The recommended acid concentration for EAT is 7.5% to 28%.
Advantages:
Simple and easy on-site operation, saving on-site operation time·
Compared with ordinary acids, the high permeability of slow acting acids significantly increases oil and gas production
Suitable for various oil and gas wells and carbonate formations
Basic performance and usage conditions:
EAT technology was successfully commercialized in 2014 and has been applied in multiple oil and gas fields worldwide. Through practice, it has been proven that this technology is effective in treating carbonate reservoirs under the following conditions:
Temperature: Static temperature 125-375 ℉ (51-190 ℃)
Stratum: Carbonate rock formation
Mixing water: freshwater or saltwater and diesel
The temperature resistance experiment of EAT liquid system is shown in the following figure.
